Back is 2007, when Youtube was fairly new and watching Youtube makeup tutorials was how I spent my free time, I fell in love with the beauty industry. Doing makeup was only a hobby, and a career in makeup was only a dream at the time. I was so proud to call myself a self-taught makeup artist, but I wanted to be a licensed professional and make it official. I was reluctant to sign up to a Cosmetology program, since I had made up my mind that I was not interested in doing hair, I wanted to dedicate my profession to makeup only.

Coming from a family of cosmetologists, I never thought I’d enjoy doing hair. After graduating from beauty school, I assisted at a few high-end salons in Newport Beach. I learned from some of the best hairstylist in the industry. There, is where I learned my signature techniques that have made me the stylist I am today. Hair color came so natural to me. I understood the science behind hair color and because of my background with makeup I understood color theory. To this day, I continue learning the latest hair trends and most modern hair coloring techniques.

My biggest passion is making women feel their worth, enhancing their natural beauty, rebuilding confidence after a bad breakup or a major weight-loss journey and empowering women to be their best version of themselves. That is what makes my career so rewarding and I couldn’t ask for anything more. Looking back, getting my cosmetology license was the best decision of my life! I am passionate about this industry and love building friendships with my clients.
